Working in the paranormal research and data gathering has met many obstacles in our history. Skeptics and ignorant alike, made it their worthwhile to scorn and snatch at researchers and believers, often with no legitimate background else than arguing for the sake of argument.

It is crucial for any paranormal investigator to gain authenticity for his work, thus public confidence.
Skeptics find it hard to separate fact from fiction, since they are not on the ground in the field involving themselves in research they usually prejudicially deny the fact and the conclusion of the existence of paranormal events and the fact that present science still lacks in tools and potentials to further advance its findings.
However, science made a great advance in this field of study, and many of the previously doubtful minds have come to terms with the inevitable. Paranormal events are there and researching needs to be taken more seriously if we are to observe any future progress in this vague yet intriguing field of study.
Having said that, it’s worth mentioning that such subject gains its importance due to its relevance to theological and cultural driven beliefs. And due to the fact that understanding paranormal events is basic rule in beginning to understand our faith, beliefs and culture.
It is incumbent to encourage the public to increase their awareness and involvement in paranormal research and finding, and it is a necessity to make funding more available in field research, historical references and technological means, tools and instruments.
And it is just as important for international media to divert some of their attention to cover related events. Maybe Hollywood can play a more positive role in shedding some light upon this subject as well, by simply stating that many of their science fiction films are actually based upon paranormal research findings and historical references, as many of skeptics do not have any idea that there is a connection between many of the major science fiction stories told by Hollywood and solid science.
