List of Aroma Therapeutic Oils

The Aroma oils are blended synthetic natural essential oils usually diluted with carrier vegetable or mineral oils and it is used in perfumery, cosmetics, food flavoring and aromatherapy. The most common of these oils are:

Cedar Wood Oil: Antiseborrhoeic , Antiseptic, Antispasmodic, Astringent, Emenagogue, Tonic, Expectorant, Tonic, Insecticidal, Sedative and Fungicidal Oil. Cedar wood with its calming properties was used by the ancient civilizations as early as the Sumerians and the pharaohs of Egypt. It was prescribed to those suffering from breathing problems or lungs related issues.

Ylang Ylang: its fragrant cananga, Macassar oil  used in Aromatherapy and its known benefits are;  Antidepressant, Antiseborrhoeic, Antiseptic, Aphrodisiac, hypnotensive, Hervine and  smooth Sedative Oil.

Sandal Wood Oil: Is Anti-infectious, Anti inflammatory, Anti Cancer, Pineal gland stimulant, Anti oxidant, relaxant. Antiseptic, Antiphlogistic, Antiseptic, Antispasmodic, Astringent, Cicatrisant, Carminative, Diuretic, Disinfectant, Sedative, Hypotensive, Emollient .and helps you to sleep.

Cinnamon Oil: Is  Antiviral, Antimicrobial, Antibacterial, Antifungal, Astringent, Anti blood clotting  rich in manganese, Iron, Calcium and Fiber, but above all, it is one of the most common flavoring spice in the world, though keep in mind that if applied directly to skin it can be irritant to sensitive skins, so dilute and apply carefully as an Oil.

Lemongrass: it’s a magic healer and pain killer used since thousands of years earlier, a natural anti inflammatory detoxifying agent, an insect repellent, a skin tissue regenerator that helps heal torn ligaments, tendons, and cartilage, great for stomachache, rheumatism, headaches and all sorts of fever, eases joint pains and it enhances mental awareness, it is also said to protect from the aura from the side effect of electromagnetic field waves which causes negative energy, in short it is an Antidepressant, Antimicrobial, Antibacterial, Antiviral, Anti pyretic, Antiseptic, Astringent, Carminative deodorant, Diuretic Antifungal, Anti spasm.

Clove: Treats Infections, Anti inflammatory  in wound cuts, Antiseptic, athletic foot fungal infections and bruises in addition to other injuries, some use it on insect bites as well, toothache, if gargled with it can relief any mouth, tooth, gum pain, it must be diluted with water for any oral use and dilute with carrier oil if rubbed on the skin, good for acne and considered to be an anti ageing oil because it improves blood circulation, headaches, respiratory issues it is also aphrodisiac anti stress that helps getting rid of exhaustion, Antidepressant, it even helps to treat neural disorder and insomnia, Diabetes and a good insecticide as well…
